How did this camcorder work anyway?

Now I know this is not much to show for an all afternoon project however; think it as just something I had to get through. I bought this JVC 30GB Hard Disk Camcorder last year so I could record my horses being trained and show them off to prospective buyers. That was the plan, this camcorder makes a video file with .MOD extension, it is the same they say as a .MOV but none of my software worked with the extension so more software to buy, I got Studio 11 from Pinnacle Software it works pretty good but I could not stand success.
I got some new software and blew about three hours today trying to get it to work, no go. I won’t name names right now since it quite possibly is the dreaded “operator error”. Well back to Studio 11 and I got the little video produced in a couple of formats and I realize I no longer have the foggiest idea how to get it to show up in my post here so therefore the link you see will have to do for now.
Update here: I put it up on Youtube and got the video to show up here, earlier I had trouble getting the video to upload properly but what do you know, I finally got it done.
Youtube videos are not very good quality, I’ll have to work on displaying a higher quality video, but for now I have a start and that was what I wanted. Most people have a need to know it all before they start, that includes me, I want all the traffic lights green before I start to town. Of course that never happens so I’ll never make it to town or anywhere else if I wait, as they say Just Do It.
